In
order to meet the demands of education reform, Project WILD
has developed a correlation of the Project WILD K-12 Curriculum
and Activity Guide and The Project WILD Aquatic Curriculum
and Activity Guide to the National Science Education
Standards (the Standards).
This 36-page document
is divided into three sections: K-4, 5-8, and 9-12. Each of
the activities has been correlated to an assessment rubric
that indicates the fundamantal concept taught in each activity.
Using this document, educators can easily fit Project WILD
activities into their lesson plans by following the user-friendly
format for each section of the Standards.
